#Poll: When giving asked-for advice, is it better to be honest or optimistic (assuming the two are mutually exclusive)? For example, would you rather me say, “you’re gonna fail” or “give it a shot”. Sometimes I think it is better to go ahead and fail because then 1) you’ll learn what not to do and 2) you won’t be left with wondering “what if…” via Facebook
