Does anyone have a connection to Norman Braman? Earlier today, WLRN Public Radio and Television The Sunshine Economy show did a very interesting story about the economic and social impact of large events on the community. One of the events talked about was, of course, #ArtBasel. Mr. Braman was one of the persons interviewed and he asserted that the fair, and the ensuing art week, have had a positive impact on the local arts.
I am very interested in learning more about his methodology and research in reaching this conclusion because it is just a *teensy bit different than what I have observed in working within the field for several years. If anyone can connect me, I would love to learn more. It may very well be that I am not seeing the whole picture.
