and think, while most non-profit arts organizations struggle to raise funds, non-profit sports executives and players are getting paid millions while being supported by massive public funding. Yet, it has been shown over and over that the arts are a significant economic driver, while professional sports are not.

If a non-profit arts organization, or any other non-profit, pays their executives too much, they come under serious scrutiny and could even be subject to punitive action by the IRS. If the NON-PROFIT professional sports organization does, nobody seems to care. via Facebook
